    • EXPERIENCE

                Monika joined ICLEI in 1993 when she started to build up the International Training Centre at ICLEI European Secretariat, where she was responsible for around 50 events, distance training courses, international projects and the set-up of ICLEI's new working areas. Since joining the World Secretariat in 2010, she has been responsible for the teams working on global events, knowledge management, urban research, EcoMobility and Future City Leaders. She has published various books, founded and edited environmental magazines, and served as board member of national NGOs in Germany.
